About the role
- Reporting to the Head of Repowering, identify and secure commercial opportunities for the development of wind repowering projects.
- Contribute to the development of the repowering origination strategy.
- Identify new sites across the country.
- Identify and assess the main risks, regulatory constraints and local issues for the identified areas.
- Conduct economic analyses and cost–benefit assessments for potential site renewals.
- Prepare bid dossiers in response to calls for tender from wind farm owners.
- Provide technical support to the Account Manager and the transaction team in the acquisition of wind farms.
- Handover secured repowering projects to the regional project teams.
- Monitor project development and the achievement of key milestones for repowering projects.
- Report on the progress of repowering project development to partners.
- Handle partners' daily requests with the support of the Repowering Account Manager.
- Assist the Repowering Contract Manager in the technical follow-up of our ancillary contracts.
- Create and improve repowering prospecting tools.
- Occasionally participate in industry working groups on repowering.
- Maintain competitive and technological monitoring of the repowering market in France and Europe.
Requirements
- Engineering degree or Master's (Bac +5) in Economics, Environment or Spatial Planning
- Proven professional experience in wind, solar and/or the energy sector
- Knowledge of economic modeling for investment projects and of the mechanisms and constraints of the wind market
- Experience in project management and commercial prospecting to succeed in this role
- Fluent English required (daily interactions in English)
- Strong communicator who enjoys teamwork and interactions with internal and external stakeholders
- Dynamic and autonomous with excellent interpersonal skills
- Situational awareness and recognised adaptability, ability to synthesise information and to propose solutions
- Rigorous, able to manage priorities through strong analytical skills
- This position is based in Avignon, Paris, Lyon, Nantes or Bordeaux and requires occasional regional and national travel (valid driving licence – category B required).
