About the role

  • Design, develop, and maintain Tableau Prep/Flow ETL to ensure the data is available to Tableau reports
  • Design, develop and maintain Tableau Dashboards as per requirements from our internal stakeholders
  • Work with our Data Visualization SME to maintain data visualization standards across all our official reports
  • Contribute to our Data Dictionary and documentation
  • Troubleshoot Tableau Workbooks and Tableau Flow ETLs data and performance issues
  • Collect reporting business requirements from our business stakeholders

Requirements

  • Extensive experience with the following technologies: Tableau Cloud, Tableau Desktop, Tableau Prep Builder, MySQL
  • Undergraduate degree in mathematics, information technology related field or equivalent working experience
  • Strong experience in designing, developing, and optimizing data transformation (ETL) pipelines for reporting purposes
  • Experience building complex interactive dashboards
  • Experience building high performing and scalable dashboards
  • Ability to understand, develop and maintain complex SQL queries
  • Excellent attention to detail related to accuracy, presentation and flow of reports and dashboards
  • Demonstrated ability to execute and meet deadlines
  • Communicates effectively, both orally and written
  • Good to Have: Tableau Analyst certification
  • Ability to pivot quickly when project requirements shift and effectively manage workload when priorities change
