About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Train, coach, and supervise Needs Assessment Coordinators (NAC)
  • Conduct personnel management activities including screening and selection, orientation, training and development, performance management, and employee functions
  • Cultivate and manage relationships with staff and referral partners
  • Support NAC by taking calls during high-volume times
  • Collaborate with other departments across the organization
  • Ensure accuracy of bed management software for bed availability and scheduling
  • Hold coordinators accountable to role standards
  • Monitor quality by evaluating coordinator documentation and phone calls
  • Serve as subject matter expert for NAC job-related duties
  • Handle delegated on-call work
  • Deliver key data in an actionable format
  • Build the team’s abilities and knowledge to support an industry-leading admissions team
  • Complete required trainings and mandatory training hours
  • Complete data collection, aggregation, analysis, and reporting to support system/process changes, identify quality concerns, and identify potential risk
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor degree or higher in a human services field preferred
  • Experience in a health or human services agency, preferably in a drug and alcohol setting
  • Previous management experience preferred
  • Professionalism, leadership, confidentiality, strong social communication, time-management, and organizational skills
  • Effective communication and interaction with people from diverse backgrounds
  • Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to gather and analyze information for problem solving
  • Ability to handle crises and react appropriately
  • Flexibility and adaptability
  • Ability to make objective and ethical decisions
  • Ability to sustain a team environment and drive continuous improvement projects
