About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Train, coach, and supervise Needs Assessment Coordinators (NAC)
Conduct personnel management activities including screening and selection, orientation, training and development, performance management, and employee functions
Cultivate and manage relationships with staff and referral partners
Support NAC by taking calls during high-volume times
Collaborate with other departments across the organization
Ensure accuracy of bed management software for bed availability and scheduling
Hold coordinators accountable to role standards
Monitor quality by evaluating coordinator documentation and phone calls
Serve as subject matter expert for NAC job-related duties
Handle delegated on-call work
Deliver key data in an actionable format
Build the team’s abilities and knowledge to support an industry-leading admissions team
Complete required trainings and mandatory training hours
Complete data collection, aggregation, analysis, and reporting to support system/process changes, identify quality concerns, and identify potential risk
Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor degree or higher in a human services field preferred
Experience in a health or human services agency, preferably in a drug and alcohol setting
Previous management experience preferred
Professionalism, leadership, confidentiality, strong social communication, time-management, and organizational skills
Effective communication and interaction with people from diverse backgrounds
Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Ability to gather and analyze information for problem solving
Ability to handle crises and react appropriately
Flexibility and adaptability
Ability to make objective and ethical decisions
Ability to sustain a team environment and drive continuous improvement projects
