Key responsibilities & impact

The Clinical Assessor II provides a range of clinical services in accordance with program requirements, applicable regulations, accreditation standards, and organizational policies.
Responsibilities include assessment, treatment planning, counseling, case management, crisis intervention, referral coordination, discharge planning, group facilitation, and other assigned clinical services.
This role collaborates with clients, families, referral sources, community partners, and interdisciplinary treatment team members to support engagement, continuity of care, and positive treatment outcomes.

Requirements

What you’ll need

ASAM aligned substance programs must meet one of the below requirements:
Master’s Degree from an accredited college with a major in chemical dependency, psychology, social work, counseling with a Master’s level licensure: Marriage and family therapy, social work, professional counseling ), or certification by a state wide certification board (CAADC).
Master’s Degree from an accredited college with a major in chemical dependency, psychology, social work, counseling and are working towards a Master’s level licensure (Marriage and family therapy, social work, professional counseling), or certification by a state wide certification board (CAADC)
Bachelors level with a CADC or are working towards a CADC with a minimum of one year of qualifying clinical experience.
Associates level with a CAAC or working towards a CAAC with a minimum of two years of qualifying clinical experience.
High School Diploma or equivalent with a CAAC.
Current licensure in this Commonwealth as a registered nurse and a degree from an accredited school of nursing and one year of qualifying clinical experience.
ASAM aligned Co-Occurring enhanced programs must meet one of the below requirements:
Master’s Degree from an accredited college with a major in chemical dependency, psychology, social work, counseling with a Master’s level licensure: Marriage and family therapy, social work, professional counseling
Master’s Degree from an accredited college with a major in chemical dependency, psychology, social work, counseling and are working towards a Master’s level licensure (Marriage and family therapy, social work, professional counseling), or certification by a state wide certification board (CAADC).
