About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- The Clinical Assessor II provides a range of clinical services in accordance with program requirements, applicable regulations, accreditation standards, and organizational policies.
- Responsibilities include assessment, treatment planning, counseling, case management, crisis intervention, referral coordination, discharge planning, group facilitation, and other assigned clinical services.
- This role collaborates with clients, families, referral sources, community partners, and interdisciplinary treatment team members to support engagement, continuity of care, and positive treatment outcomes.
Requirements
What you’ll need- ASAM aligned substance programs must meet one of the below requirements:
- Master’s Degree from an accredited college with a major in chemical dependency, psychology, social work, counseling with a Master’s level licensure: Marriage and family therapy, social work, professional counseling ), or certification by a state wide certification board (CAADC).
- Master’s Degree from an accredited college with a major in chemical dependency, psychology, social work, counseling and are working towards a Master’s level licensure (Marriage and family therapy, social work, professional counseling), or certification by a state wide certification board (CAADC)
- Bachelors level with a CADC or are working towards a CADC with a minimum of one year of qualifying clinical experience.
- Associates level with a CAAC or working towards a CAAC with a minimum of two years of qualifying clinical experience.
- High School Diploma or equivalent with a CAAC.
- Current licensure in this Commonwealth as a registered nurse and a degree from an accredited school of nursing and one year of qualifying clinical experience.
- ASAM aligned Co-Occurring enhanced programs must meet one of the below requirements:
- Master’s Degree from an accredited college with a major in chemical dependency, psychology, social work, counseling with a Master’s level licensure: Marriage and family therapy, social work, professional counseling
- Master’s Degree from an accredited college with a major in chemical dependency, psychology, social work, counseling and are working towards a Master’s level licensure (Marriage and family therapy, social work, professional counseling), or certification by a state wide certification board (CAADC).
