Key responsibilities & impact
  • Grow and develop engineers: Support individual career development through coaching, mentoring, and feedback.
  • Lead with impact: Drive team execution and ensure delivery of high-quality, reliable software.
  • Shape technical direction: Contribute to the engineering group’s architecture decisions, process improvements, and adoption of best practices.
  • Foster innovation: Create an environment where experimentation, learning, and technical excellence are encouraged.
  • Improve processes: Partner with other leaders to evolve how we work, from agile delivery to CI/CD adoption and DevOps culture.
  • Build alignment: Work cross-functionally to make sure business objectives and technical goals stay connected.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 4+ years of experience managing engineering teams, with proven ability to build and grow high-performing teams.
  • 8+ years of professional experience as a software engineer, with a strong technical foundation.
  • Proven ability to develop, mentor, and coach engineers, helping them achieve personal and professional growth.
  • Strong understanding of system architecture, SDLC, DevOps, and agile methodologies.
  • Experience working in the cloud (Azure is a plus, but other cloud providers are also valuable).
  • Experience driving innovation, process improvements, and adoption of best practices across teams.
  • Ability to influence technical direction and architectural decisions in collaboration with staff engineers and leadership.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to align stakeholders across engineering, product, and business.
  • A track record of creating an inclusive, collaborative, and high-trust engineering culture.
  • Hands-on experience with .NET as a core part of the stack is a plus.
