About the role
- Act as functional architect and strategic advisor for clients undergoing finance transformation
- Lead end-to-end SAP implementations, drive solution design, and manage delivery across multiple workstreams
- Develop strategic client relationships and provide high quality work across multiple client projects
- Lead and facilitate design sessions with the client and lead the team through development and approval of project deliverables
- Provide advice to clients on leading practices to manage finance related processes and oversee functional teams
- Responsible for solution strategy and project delivery as an SAP Finance Stream lead
- Work with project management team to manage and report status, risks, and issues
- Collaborate across functional, technical, reporting, and training teams to align on scope, solution design, development and deliverables
- Identify and address client needs, develop and sustain deep client relationships, prepare and present complex materials, and define resource requirements, project workflow, budgets, billing and collection
- Contribute to team vision, establish direction, motivate members, coach staff, and encourage improvement and innovation
Requirements
- Strong prior experience in managing client relationships while providing high quality work
- Previous experience in leading a functional team of consultants through all phases of an implementation project
- Strong prior experience in leading implementation of SAP FICO in Financial Accounting (General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivables, Fixed Assets, Treasury)
- Strong prior experience in Controlling (Overhead Management, Project Accounting, Product Costing, Margin Analysis)
- Experience integrating SAP FICO with Procurement, Sales, Production, Human Capital Management
- Familiarity with Group Reporting and Financial Planning & Analysis (preferred)
- Proven experience integrating complex requirements into simple, successful SAP solution designs
- Proven experience developing solution architecture leveraging SAP technologies
- Deep understanding of financial management and reporting functions and expertise in industries such as CPG, Manufacturing, Banking, Retail
- Proven track record delivering SAP application solutions with at least two end-to-end SAP FICO implementation projects on-premise and Cloud edition
- Familiarity with SAP Activate methodology beneficial
- Interest in deepening cross functional business acumen and technical knowledge, particularly with SAP’s newer cloud technologies
