About the role
- Support end-to-end implementation of Salesforce projects from analysis through deployment and steady-state support
- Analyse and document business and system requirements and prepare solution proposals
- Translate requirements into functional specifications and support build deliverables
- Plan and perform test activities, create/execute complex test scenarios and scripts
- Provide end-user training and create end-user documentation
- Document and design current and future Salesforce-enabled solutions
- Interpret technical documentation to meet business needs and identify system/functional interdependencies
- Work independently and within cross-functional project teams; act as subject matter expert
- Estimate cost and time for complex enterprise-level solutions and create business justification
- Mentor junior staff, lead meetings, and assist project managers with project plans, task execution, and status communication
- Respond to critical production support requests and stabilization activities
Requirements
- 4-7 years of experience
- B.Tech/B.E./MCA (Bachelor of Technology/Bachelor of Engineering preferred)
- Salesforce Sales/Business Analyst experience
- Strong knowledge/experience in Salesforce Sales or Service business processes and use cases
- Good understanding of AppExchange products/solutions
- Salesforce Marketing Cloud/Pardot and Integration skills (advantage)
- Excellent knowledge of Salesforce.com application (Sales and Service Cloud preferred)
- Formal Salesforce.com certifications strongly preferred
- Understanding of Salesforce Lightning & lightning components
- Basic understanding of Salesforce Objects and relationships, Apex, Visualforce Pages, Triggers, Workflow rules, Page layouts, Record Types, Process Builder
- Detail oriented; ability to translate business/user requirements into detailed system requirements
- Strong interpersonal, influencing, organization, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Experience documenting functional designs and business process designs
- Experience creating and executing test scenarios and providing end-user training
