About the role
- SAP SD Implementation & Support: Lead or support SAP SD module implementation projects including requirement gathering, design, configuration, testing, and go-live support.
- Provide post-implementation support and continuous improvement for SAP SD processes.
- Business Process Analysis: Analyze business requirements and translate them into SAP solutions; work closely with business stakeholders to understand sales, billing, shipping, and pricing processes.
- Configuration & Customization: Configure SAP SD components including sales order processing, pricing, billing, shipping, and credit management; customize SAP SD functionalities using user exits, BAPIs, and enhancements.
- Integration: Collaborate with other SAP modules (MM, FI, WM, etc.) for seamless integration; support EDI and third-party system integrations related to order-to-cash processes.
- Documentation & Training: Prepare functional specifications, test scripts, and user manuals; conduct training sessions for end-users and support teams.
- Issue Resolution: Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to SAP SD transactions and configurations; provide timely support for incidents and service requests.
- Provide consulting services across various SAP applications: analyse client needs, implement software solutions, and offer training and support for effective utilisation of SAP applications.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field.
- 4–8 years of hands-on experience in SAP SD module.
- Strong knowledge of: Sales order management; Pricing and discounts; Billing and invoicing; Shipping and delivery; Credit management.
- Experience with SAP ECC or S/4HANA.
- Good understanding of integration points with SAP MM, FI, and other modules.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- SAP SD certification (Preferred Qualifications).
- Experience in S/4HANA migration or greenfield implementation (Preferred Qualifications).
- Exposure to Agile or hybrid project methodologies (Preferred Qualifications).
- Knowledge of ABAP debugging is a plus.
- Mandatory skill sets: SAP SD.
- Education qualification: Btech MBA MCA MTECH.
