About the role

  • Lead and manage a team of SAP developers and consultants, ensuring high-quality project delivery and resource allocation
  • Drive planning, execution, and continuous improvement of SAP development projects, aligning outcomes with client objectives and PwC best practices
  • Collaborate with solution architects, business analysts, and client stakeholders to define requirements and translate them into technical specifications
  • Foster agile and DevOps methodologies to boost productivity, accelerate delivery, and maintain code quality
  • Monitor progress, resolve blockers, and manage risks to ensure timely delivery of SAP solutions
  • Promote professional development through mentoring, training, and constructive feedback
  • Implement best practices in SAP development, including code reviews, automated testing, and documentation standards
  • Manage budgeting, capacity planning, and reporting to support operational and strategic decisions

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of experience in SAP incident/problem management and implementing customer-specific enhancements (change requests)
  • Very good written and spoken English
  • Excellent written and spoken German
  • Strong technical background in SAP technologies, including ABAP, SAP Fiori/UI5, and experience with SAP development tools and frameworks (e.g., RAP, CDS, ODATA)
  • Experience working in agile environments and knowledge of DevOps practices for SAP
  • Knowledge of SAP Finance and Controlling modules
  • Proven ability to manage and motivate cross-functional development teams, delivering high-quality solutions on time
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude
  • University degree (Bachelor/Master) or equivalent relevant education.
