About the role
- Lead and manage a team of SAP developers and consultants, ensuring high-quality project delivery and resource allocation
- Drive planning, execution, and continuous improvement of SAP development projects, aligning outcomes with client objectives and PwC best practices
- Collaborate with solution architects, business analysts, and client stakeholders to define requirements and translate them into technical specifications
- Foster agile and DevOps methodologies to boost productivity, accelerate delivery, and maintain code quality
- Monitor progress, resolve blockers, and manage risks to ensure timely delivery of SAP solutions
- Promote professional development through mentoring, training, and constructive feedback
- Implement best practices in SAP development, including code reviews, automated testing, and documentation standards
- Manage budgeting, capacity planning, and reporting to support operational and strategic decisions
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in SAP incident/problem management and implementing customer-specific enhancements (change requests)
- Very good written and spoken English
- Excellent written and spoken German
- Strong technical background in SAP technologies, including ABAP, SAP Fiori/UI5, and experience with SAP development tools and frameworks (e.g., RAP, CDS, ODATA)
- Experience working in agile environments and knowledge of DevOps practices for SAP
- Knowledge of SAP Finance and Controlling modules
- Proven ability to manage and motivate cross-functional development teams, delivering high-quality solutions on time
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude
- University degree (Bachelor/Master) or equivalent relevant education.
