About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Technical conception: Preparation and reviewer-ready technical project descriptions and formulation, including clear articulation of the project’s innovative aspects
- Project structuring: Translating the client’s project into funding-compliant work packages, milestones, and timelines
- Technology research: Analysis of the current state of the art to precisely delimit the innovation content of client projects
- Strategy development: Design and planning of funding strategies for companies and research institutions
- Research & analysis: Screening relevant funding programs and their eligibility criteria and requirements
- Budget planning: Initial cost estimation for funded projects
- Client management (depending on seniority level): Client support for the technical components of the funding application
Requirements
What you’ll need- Successfully completed Master’s degree in a STEM discipline
- Initial experience in the funding/grants area or in project management is an advantage
- Ability to write with scientific precision, stylistic confidence, and structured clarity
- Quick grasp and ability to work into complex technical matters
- Self-starter with a conscientious and structured approach to work
- Business-fluent German and English
