About the role

  • Provide telehealth counseling for substance use disorder (SUD) and mental health via PursueCare’s platform and EHR.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and facilitate case conferencing and consultations.
  • Administer or review validated assessments to inform treatment strategies.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members, operations staff, partnering providers, and referral sources to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Maintain accurate and timely EHR documentation supporting billed CPT codes and treatment outcomes.
  • Assess and intervene in crisis situations, provide resources and referrals, and advocate for patients.
  • Conduct sessions from a professional, private, distraction-free environment to uphold patient privacy and comfort.

Requirements

  • Master’s level degree or above, with a current independent license to practice (LCSW, LCPC, LMFT, PhD, PsyD).
  • Demonstrated proficiency in utilizing technology for telehealth counseling.
  • Prior experience in substance use treatment preferred.
  • Maintain a valid unrestricted license to practice in the state(s) agreed upon at hire, or other states directed by PursueCare.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, fostering effective collaboration within interdisciplinary teams.
  • Commitment to ethical and evidence-based practice, with a focus on patient-centered care.
