About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Deliver individual, family, and group counseling services for patients age 5 and older
Support patients experiencing behavioral health and substance use concerns
Create individualized treatment plans in collaboration with medical and clinical teams
Complete evaluations and implement evidence-based therapeutic approaches
Maintain timely and accurate documentation within electronic health record systems
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and respond to urgent client needs and crisis situations
Participate in supervision, training, and continuing education opportunities

Requirements

What you’ll need

Clear and active New York LMHC license REQUIRED
Strong verbal and written communication skills REQUIRED
Comfortable working with patient populations age 5 and older REQUIRED
Ability to collaborate within interdisciplinary care environment REQUIRED
Experience working within electronic health record systems REQUIRED
Strong patient-centered and team-oriented care approach REQUIRED
