About the role
- Transform product strategy into AI agent solutions that enhance dealership advertising performance, shopper engagement, and operational efficiency.
- Define clear, actionable product requirements — including PRDs, user stories, data requirements, and evaluation plans.
- Lead the end-to-end lifecycle of AI features and products, from ideation and model evaluation through launch, adoption, and iteration.
- Design and refine conversational workflows, agent behaviors, and retrieval strategies to ensure accuracy, reliability, and business value.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, design, GTM, customer success, and compliance to ensure successful delivery and rollout of AI capabilities.
- Own prioritization and backlog management, balancing rapid experimentation with long-term platform architecture and scalability.
- Work with sensitive CRM, PII, and dealership data safely and responsibly, ensuring compliance with data governance, privacy, and security standards.
- Monitor performance with clear KPIs (model quality, usage, conversions, operational uplift) and use insights to drive continuous product improvements.
- Champion AI enablement within PureCars and with customers.
Requirements
- 5+ years of product management experience in data, advertising, SaaS, or related technical products.
- 2+ years of hands-on experience building and shipping sophisticated AI-driven products to production, including LLM-based applications, conversational AI systems, or multi-agent platforms that operate at enterprise scale.
- Strong fluency with modern AI systems, including an understanding of the capabilities and constraints of different LLM architectures, RAG/retrieval systems, embeddings, function calling, fine-tuning approaches, and agent orchestration frameworks.
- Experience working closely with engineering and data science to shape complex AI product requirements.
- Familiarity with CRM data and working with PII/consumer datasets, especially around governance, consent, and secure handling.
- Demonstrated ability to turn ambiguous problems into structured, testable product direction, grounded in customer needs and business outcomes.
- Strong prioritization and decision-making skills, with the ability to balance velocity, quality, risk, and long-term product strategy.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of translating technical AI concepts to non-technical stakeholders and automotive partners.
