Senior Manager, Direct Flash Module Operations Engineering

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead and scale a geographically distributed team of Supplier Quality Engineers, Manufacturing Quality Engineers, and Component Engineers across the United States, Malaysia, and Vietnam.
- Serve as the primary Operations Engineering interface in Hsinchu, Taiwan for all NPI programs.
- Partner closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure seamless product introduction and ramp.
- Drive Design for Manufacturing (DFM) and Design for Test (DFT) initiatives.
- Own end-to-end supplier quality management.
- Establish and enforce robust component engineering practices.
- Oversee manufacturing quality performance across APAC DFM sites.
- Act as the primary liaison between Hsinchu-based Engineering and NPI teams and contract manufacturers/suppliers.
- Define and execute the APAC Operations Engineering strategy in alignment with global organizational objectives.
Requirements
What you’ll need- 10–15+ years of experience in Operations Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or Supplier Quality within the electronics, hardware, or data center industry
- Proven track record of managing regional or global engineering teams
- Demonstrated success in NPI execution and manufacturing ramp within APAC
- Strong domain expertise in Supplier Quality and Supplier Development, DFM and DFT, manufacturing processes (e.g., PCBA, system integration)
- Experience working with contract manufacturing models, including EMS, JDM, and ODM.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or a related discipline)
