- Steer a high-performing team in crafting and executing a visionary, differentiated, and market-leading product strategy for Object.
- Architect and drive the full product lifecycle, from defining roadmap priorities to delivering enterprise-class storage capabilities.
- Guide investment choices, orchestrate trade-offs, and set standards for delivering sustained customer and business value at scale.
- Forge strong alliances with key account field teams, channel partners, and marquee customers to accelerate go-to-market success.
- Operate as a senior advisor to executive leadership, translating market shifts and competitive movements into actionable priorities.
- Represent the company as a trusted ambassador and principal evangelist for FlashBlade Object in executive briefings and industry forums.
- Inspire, develop, and elevate a diverse team of product managers, engineers, and cross-functional leaders to ensure organizational alignment and flawless execution.
Requirements
- Demonstrated, senior-level experience driving the strategy, launch, and growth of sophisticated product portfolios in the enterprise technology space, with proven ability to build businesses and deliver outsized results in dynamic, competitive markets.
- Awareness of storage products, Object storage and allied solutions in data protection, analytics and applications is a plus.
- Broad and deep technical fluency spanning datacenter architectures, security frameworks, and the operational realities of complex enterprise deployments.
- Visionary yet disciplined leadership: a track record of setting ambitious direction, developing compelling execution plans, and balancing immediate revenue generation with long-term value creation and product differentiation.
- Polished executive presence, with exceptional communication and storytelling skills—able to inspire, align, and influence senior leaders, customers, and cross-functional teams in both technical and commercial contexts.
- Strategic business judgement, commercial acumen, and a strong grasp of end-to-end product lifecycle management, from market opportunity assessment to global launch, scale, and sunset.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline is required; a Master’s degree or MBA is strongly preferred and will set you apart.
- Expected to work from the Santa Clara, CA office in compliance with Pure’s policies, unless on PTO, work travel, or other approved leave.
