Systems Engineer

• Develop an exhaustive understanding of what drives a customer’s business and what motivates their decision making
• Connect technology solutions, including the Pure Storage portfolio and ecosystem partners, to measurable customer business outcomes
• Partner with account managers, specialists and channel partners to create a seamless customer experience and strategy to drive revenue growth and net new business
• Demonstrate the advantages of Pure Storage solutions and provide technical leadership and domain expertise on storage products, distributed storage architectures, file systems, and competitive storage offerings in DAS, NAS and SAN spaces
• Take control of evaluations, benchmarks and system configurations
• Build and deliver technical product and architecture presentations to customers to lock in the technical win
• Capture requirements and translate customer business needs into innovative solutions
• Contribute significant portions and/or lead responses to RFPs, RFQs and RFIs
• Seek out interoperability, functional, and performance testing/validation opportunities
• Promote mutual roadmap and planning exchanges with customers and partners
• Liaise with product and technical marketing to produce materials supporting alliance plans and objectives
• Stay current with the competition and update materials to reflect differentiated solution positioning
• Promote thought leadership by moving with market trends and competitive landscape
