Architect

• Lead technical consultation and implementation to support sales goals across Japan.
• Work cross-functionally with Sales, Product Marketing, Business Development, Services and engineering to scope and sell Professional Services solutions.
• Become acquainted with customers' business requirements, technical needs, systems, environment and service history.
• Perform pre-sales and delivery functions as needed.
• Design IT architecture solutions involving replication, clustering, cloud offerings and data migrations.
• Deliver large scale and complex projects and develop scripting for automation.
• Participate in customer evaluations and proof of concepts on Pure systems.
• Advise sales teams on engineering developments and strategies for replication, clustering and data migrations.
• Evaluate partner proposals for migration services.
• Prepare and deliver technical and architecture solutions and contribute to RFPs, RFQs and RFIs.
• Travel to customer domestic sites and global sites as necessary.
