- Pure Storage seeking an operationally sound, accomplished, and highly motivated Client Solutions Director to lead strategy and execution for technical sales in automotive global accounts.
- Hybrid 'working' Strategic Solutions Director performing strategic pre-sales activities and guiding systems engineers; provides primary pre-sales coverage for one or more strategic accounts.
- Set executive technical strategy and direction for global accounts, align with organizational goals and financial targets.
- Lead and develop a high-performance technical pre-sales team and mentor systems engineers.
- Drive operational excellence through data-driven analysis of pipeline and provide technical details to sales forecasting.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Marketing, Principal Engineers, Field Solutions Architects, and Customer Success.
- Provide change management, executive communication, risk management, and act as client advocate to ensure customer needs are met.
Requirements
- Proven leader of direct and globally matrixed teams; demonstrating 5+ successful years of global field technical leadership.
- Advanced skill set and experience delivering world class technical solutions for the financial services industry.
- Experience supporting large Financial Services accounts, with a proven track record of delivering enterprise solutions that deliver against business outcomes for closing Global Enterprise customers.
- In-depth technical knowledge of Pure’s portfolio with the ability to take a holistic approach to create business solutions for customers.
- Credibility, savvy, and influence to both understand and scale up and down a customer's organization.
- Ability to adeptly navigate around a global account and quickly understand the internal dynamics.
- Proven success at effectively alternating between player and coach to drive results.
