About the role
- Performs the documentation and project management functions to support the energy resource acquisition activities.
- Assists in the end-to-end process of creating, issuing, and overseeing responses to RFPs related to energy resource projects.
- Works closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure that projects are competitively bid and aligned with the organization’s strategic goals.
- Coordinates with cross-functional teams to gather necessary documentation, compile data, and prepare contemporaneous documentation.
- Acts as the point of contact for all documentation-related queries, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and customer needs.
- Continuously reviews and improves documentation processes, leveraging tools for version control, collaboration, and publication.
- Upholds the safety compliance standards inherent in PSE’s operating and/or field procedures related to work responsibilities.

- Ensures duties are performed in accordance with all regulatory compliance obligations.
- Job Responsibilities RFP Development Collaborates with stakeholders to define project requirements, technical specifications, and scope of work for RFP.
- Oversees RFP project timelines, budgets, and deliverables from the proposal stage through the project execution, to ensure milestones are met.
- Stakeholder Communication Acts as the point of contact between internal teams (e.g., permitting, transmission, engineering, legal, finance) and external developers, to ensure clear communication throughout the project lifecycle.
- Compliance Ensures that the RFP process complies with all relevant regulations.
- Reporting and Documentation Maintains detailed records of the RFP process, proposal evaluations, and project status updates, and provides regular reports to senior management.
- Supports regulatory filings, hearings, and responses to requests from regulatory agencies.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in english, language & literature, engineering, finance, economics, business administration or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Three (3) years of relevant experience such as a technical communication, documentation management or project management
- Strong analytical, interpretive, problem-solving, and conceptual skills for single or multiple technical areas
- Demonstrated experience facilitating cross functional technical teams to ensure successful delivery of projects
- Excellent organizational skills

- Strong attention to detail
- Good problem solving and conflict resolution skills
- Experience as a Technical Communicator in an energy/utility industry (desired)
- Experience in the utility, oil, gas or independent power sector (desired)

- Work experience in technical writing for asset development and acquisitions (desired)
- Knowledge of financial and accounting principles (desired)
