About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop and implement academic community strategies aligned with the University's objectives and the distance education (EaD) student journey.
- Manage digital interaction environments (forums, groups, channels on the AVA — Virtual Learning Environment, social media and online events), fostering connections and collaboration among students.
- Run community campaigns and rituals, such as welcome initiatives, recognition of achievements, challenges and incentive actions.
- Mediate interactions with empathy and responsibility, ensuring a safe, inclusive environment compliant with LGPD (Brazilian General Data Protection Law).
- Create and apply communication frameworks and engagement strategies tailored to different student profiles.
- Confidently record videos for communication and engagement activities aimed at students.
- Act as a bridge between students and institutional teams (mentoring, tutoring, support and academic office), strengthening integration and student support.
- Support the planning and execution of academic and institutional events, in-person or online, with participation from faculty, alumni and guests.
- Monitor engagement, persistence, satisfaction (NPS) and retention indicators, analyzing qualitative and quantitative feedback.
- Prepare reports and dashboards with insights and recommendations for improvement for the areas involved.
- Use CRM and analytics tools to plan predictive and personalized actions that enhance the student experience.
- Ensure correct operation and configuration of institutional systems (AVA, ERP, CRM and other platforms).
- Submit and follow up on support tickets, ensuring issues are resolved according to institutional guidelines.
- Work with goals (OKRs and SMARTs) set by the department, focused on innovation and continuous process improvement.
- Support management with impactful actions for the area as needed.
- Participate in meetings, training and continuous development activities, promoting high performance and institutional alignment.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree (completed).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong knowledge of formal Portuguese language norms.
- Ability to work effectively in a team.
- Intermediate Microsoft Office skills.
- Experience in community management, social media or online audience relations.
- Familiarity with educational environments, especially in distance education (EaD).
- Good communication, empathy, active listening and mediation skills.
- Ability to analyze data, engagement metrics and digital tools (CRM, AVA, dashboards).
- Organized, proactive and collaborative mindset.
