About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

As a Developer you will be responsible for contributing to the development of educational solutions, from understanding the scope and detailing requirements to planning and managing execution, including communication, negotiations (deadline, cost, scope), creating and tracking schedules, and mapping and managing risks.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree (completed)
Experience in developing, supporting and evolving applications using modern frameworks (React, Node.js, Spring Boot, Python, PHP)
Hands-on experience with Canvas LMS and/or D2L Brightspace, including use of their native APIs and a deep understanding of their data models
Experience developing and supporting integrations using RESTful API standards and LTI (Learning Tools Interoperability)
Ability to understand, design and work on distributed systems using DDD (Domain-Driven Design), ensuring resilience through observability and messaging strategies (Kafka / RabbitMQ / Azure Service Bus)
Experience in Cloud environments (Azure, AWS or GCP) with a focus on infrastructure as code, Docker and orchestration with Kubernetes
Experience with relational databases (MySQL / PostgreSQL) and non-relational databases (MongoDB / Redis / Cosmos DB), with emphasis on performance and data security.
