About the role
- Own all logistical “heavy lifting” for ~3 marketing-sponsored events per quarter
- Act as the primary point of contact for event organizers, vendors, and internal stakeholders
- Ensure all event leads are accurately captured, cleaned, and routed via Marketo
- Own the lead process end-to-end, from the event floor or virtual booth through to the SDR team
- Coordinate event collateral and sales support materials
- Ensure sales attendees (“floor walkers”) are fully equipped with the right digital and physical assets
- Collaborate across global time zones, including early mornings for APAC and evenings for the Americas
- Independently manage relationships with event organizers and logistics vendors
- Ensure all PubNub requirements are delivered on time and within budget
- Occasionally travel within Europe to provide onsite event coordination and support
- Continuously improve PubNub’s event playbook to drive efficiency and consistency across sponsored and sales-attended events
Requirements
- 2+ years of hands-on event coordination experience, ideally in a B2B environment
- Strong understanding of the B2B sales cycle and how event data flows into CRM systems
- Proven ability to manage vendors, deadlines, and high-pressure situations independently
- Comfortable working a part-time schedule (16–24 hours/week) that spans APAC and Americas time zones from a European base
- Detail-oriented and process-driven, with a strong bias toward execution
- Prior experience with Marketo and/or Salesforce for lead management or basic marketing automation (nice to have)
- Experience working in a B2B SaaS or technology company (nice to have)
- Collaborative, growth-minded, and confident in ensuring stakeholders follow established processes (nice to have)
