About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Review requirements, specifications, and user stories to provide meaningful feedback from a quality perspective
- Create and maintain clear, comprehensive, and well-structured test cases and test scenarios
- Execute manual test cases and report test results accurately
- Identify, document, and track defects using Jira
- Perform regression testing to verify bug fixes and ensure application stability
- Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities
- Collaborate with developers, product owners, and QA team members to ensure product quality
- Create, review, and maintain Cucumber (Gherkin) scenarios to support Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) practices
- Contribute ideas to improve QA processes, test documentation, and overall testing efficiency
Requirements
What you’ll need- University degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline
- Any QA experience (Internships, academic projects, or personal projects related to software testing) is considered a plus
- Basic knowledge of SQL, JSON, XML, REST APIs, or web technologies is considered an advantage
- Understanding of software testing concepts, test case design, and defect reporting
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good communication skills and a collaborative mindset
- Attention to detail and eagerness to learn
