About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Design, develop, and deploy AI/ML solutions into production environments
Transform research concepts into robust, maintainable software systems
Support research and evaluation of new technologies and products to help inform the development of innovative software solutions.
Evaluate prototype features or components to ensure they meet functional requirements and usability standards.
Continuously learn new technologies, tools, and development practices to stay up to date with industry trends and team standards.
Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code, and participate in testing and debugging to ensure software quality and reliability.
Participate in product development and engineering activities to help identify issues, propose improvements, and support resolution efforts.
Support production monitoring and continuous improvement

Requirements

What you’ll need

**4+ years** of professional experience as a software engineer or in a similar development-focused role.
Ηands-on experience with **Python**.
Strong understanding of software development best practices
Practical knowledge of machine learning libraries/frameworks and LLM ecosystems, with an interest in applying ML concepts and generative AI in real-world products.
Experience or exposure to software design principles and system architecture.
Exposure to cloud platforms (GCP, Azure or AWS) and container technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.
University degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
**Nice to Have**
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a solid mathematical foundation.
Knowledge of MLOps practices (CI/CD, model monitoring, versioning)
Ability to understand business and customer needs and translate them into technical solutions.
Comfortable working in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
Good time-management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and adapt to changing requirements
Experience with retail will be considered a plus
