About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Ensure accurate and timely payroll processing by reviewing payroll quality reports, calculating and distributing employee payments, and resolving payroll discrepancies through detailed data analysis
  • Manage payroll-related cases, adjustments, garnishments, levies, court orders, refunds, returned checks, and unclaimed property processing while coordinating with creditors, attorneys, and internal stakeholders as needed
  • Support audit documentation requests, maintain compliance with payroll policies and procedures, and provide operational support across payroll functions

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 1+ years of payroll, accounting, banking, operations, or clerical experience
  • Moderate experience with Microsoft Office 365 toolset, specifically Excel (Pivot Tables, V-Lookup, Concatenate functions), Word, Outlook, Teams
  • Ability to navigate between multiple applications
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to multi-task and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication skills; listening verbal and written
  • Ability to meet or exceed productivity and quality expectations
  • Ability to adapt to change in processes, systems, etc.
  • Ability to work virtually under minimal supervision, prioritize work and meet deadlines
  • Associate Degree in Finance related field preferred. Substantial professional experience may be considered in lieu of a formal degree.
