About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Gathers and analyzes financial information on expenses and revenues.
Designs and enhances data visualizations for reporting
Develops simple analysis of economic indicators to prepare forecasts and analyses supporting financial planning needs.
Develops financial prompts or queries for analysis of accounting and business wide issues.
Assists with the design and production of monthly reports.
Supports business unit employees through analysis of financial data.
Ensures company compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and assists with interpretation and implementation of new accounting standards.
Recommends accounting process improvements and ensures compliance with accounting policies and procedures.
Special projects as assigned.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance preferred
1+ years’ experience of financial analysis or relevant academic experience
Proficiency in Microsoft applications, in particular Excel, PowerPoint, CoPilot
Knowledge of Tableau, PowerBI, or other data visualization tools preferred
