About the role

  • Assume operational leadership of the international Accounts Receivable team and ensure efficient, high-quality accounts receivable operations
  • Responsible for end-to-end receivables management for multiple international entities
  • Serve as the central contact for internal departments and customers to resolve billing and payment queries
  • Analyze receivables portfolios, reduce outstanding balances and improve payment behavior
  • Develop processes, policies and controls, including automation and ERP optimizations
  • Support month-end and year-end closing with thorough account reconciliations and intercompany expertise
  • Ensure compliance with corporate requirements and regulatory standards in collaboration with internal and external partners.

Requirements

  • Degree in Accounting, Business Administration or Finance — ideally with a focus on Accounting
  • Several years of experience in international accounts receivable, including at least two years in a leadership role
  • Strong expertise in receivables management, revenue recognition, and accounting and tax frameworks
  • Confident user of ERP and subscription billing tools (experience with SAP Business ByDesign, Zuora or Chargebee is an advantage)
  • Analytical mindset, structured working style and strong numerical skills
  • Excellent German and English language skills
  • Demonstrates leadership, team spirit and a motivation to develop people.
