About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Assume operational leadership of the international Accounts Receivable team and ensure efficient, high-quality accounts receivable operations
- Responsible for end-to-end receivables management for multiple international entities
- Serve as the central contact for internal departments and customers to resolve billing and payment queries
- Analyze receivables portfolios, reduce outstanding balances and improve payment behavior
- Develop processes, policies and controls, including automation and ERP optimizations
- Support month-end and year-end closing with thorough account reconciliations and intercompany expertise
- Ensure compliance with corporate requirements and regulatory standards in collaboration with internal and external partners.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Degree in Accounting, Business Administration or Finance — ideally with a focus on Accounting
- Several years of experience in international accounts receivable, including at least two years in a leadership role
- Strong expertise in receivables management, revenue recognition, and accounting and tax frameworks
- Confident user of ERP and subscription billing tools (experience with SAP Business ByDesign, Zuora or Chargebee is an advantage)
- Analytical mindset, structured working style and strong numerical skills
- Excellent German and English language skills
- Demonstrates leadership, team spirit and a motivation to develop people.
