About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

manage and help execute the PLM Upgrade projects
driving hands on execution of the upgrades of PLM Products hosted in Cloud
managing different phases of the PLM upgrade projects, from request phase till hypercare
motivating fellow project members inside and outside the cloud organization
ensuring on time and quality delivery
work closely with multiple global teams comprised of Cloud Infrastructure, Cloud Applications, Cloud Database and fellow PLM Upgrade Engineers
responsible for hands-on execution of Upgrades, analyzing client requirements; designing, building, testing, documenting, supporting and ensuring quality Implementation and Education Content deliverables for the projects assigned to the PLM Upgrade team

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelors in a technical field (IT, CS, Programming, etc.) + 3 years of technical work experience
Fluent in English with excellent written and spoken communication skills
Must be a US Citizen and have or be able to obtain a secret government clearance
Deep knowledge with PTC PLM Windchill Product Suit – Especially around the Technical Upgrade Process
Proficiency with Windows and Linux OS
Strong motivation to learn new technologies
Strong troubleshooting skills
Basic networking experience
Knowledge of bash scripting
Ability to maintain and implement effective application software on multiple technical platforms using one or more families of languages: Java SE, JavaScript, web services (REST, XML, etc.)
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project and Outlook
Knowledge of Active Directory, Single Sign on technologies like Ping Federate and shibboleth
Knowledge of Database technologies, Oracle and Postgres
