Administrative Assistant

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support the daily operations of the Drawing Office
- Assist with the implementation of a new drawing management system
- Act as a MEDS steward, coordinating the approval process for engineering drawings and associated site Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- Manage the filing, archiving, and maintenance of controlled documentation and drawings
- Provide administrative and operational support to Drawing Office personnel across various functional areas
- Monitor and maintain office supplies and resources
- Prepare and distribute reports and metrics relating to drawing status and document workflows
- Support the successful introduction and operation of new Drawing Office systems and processes
- Ensure documentation is maintained accurately and in compliance with site procedures and regulatory requirements
Requirements
What you’ll need- Diploma or equivalent qualification in Administration, Business Support, or a related discipline.
- Previous experience in a pharmaceutical, manufacturing, or regulated environment would be advantageous.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to read, interpret, and understand engineering procedures and documentation.
- Strong organizational and planning skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Effective teamwork and interpersonal abilities.
- Flexibility and adaptability to changing priorities.
- Ability to work independently while contributing to team goals.
- Strong administrative and document management capabilities.
- Experience using Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft PowerPoint, MEDS document management system (or similar electronic document management systems) is preferred.
