About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Build, maintain, and strengthen long-term relationships with assigned customers.
  • Manage customer inquiries, prepare quotations, and promote products and solutions aligned with customer needs.
  • Develop and deliver sales proposals and commercial offers.
  • Review customer specifications, applications, and contractual requirements in collaboration with Engineering and R&D teams.
  • Process requests for quotations, providing accurate pricing, lead times, and product availability.
  • Manage customer orders from receipt through confirmation, ensuring accuracy and timely communication.
  • Handle customer returns and claims, coordinating corrective actions to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate closely with Shipping, Scheduling, Quality, Manufacturing, Credit, Finance, Engineering, and Product Management teams to ensure efficient order execution and on-time delivery.
  • Contribute to cross-functional projects and continuous improvement initiatives that enhance customer service and business performance.
  • Continuously develop product and market knowledge through internal and external training opportunities.
  • Provide support and backup to the commercial team when needed.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in a Sales, Customer Service, Account Management, or similar commercial role.
  • Previous experience working within a sales or customer-facing environment.
  • A customer-focused and results-driven mindset.
  • Strong communication, relationship-building, and negotiation skills.
  • A proactive, collaborative, and solution-oriented approach.
  • The ability to thrive in dynamic environments and effectively manage change and complexity.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and work independently.
  • A self-motivated, responsive, and assertive attitude with a strong sense of ownership.
