About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Providing technical support to Power Distribution customers in the Southeast United States
  • Working with territory sales managers to promote new and existing products
  • Assisting R&D in developing customer-centric new offerings and cost-savings opportunities
  • Providing technical responses to customer inquiries
  • Participating in major quotes and bids with key customers

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, or Electrical)
  • 3-5 years’ experience in Engineering, preferably Wire and Cable
  • Strong engineering knowledge and background
  • Strong computer skills, proficient in Excel
  • Ability to participate in cross-functional teams and be an influencer within a matrix organization
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Must have the ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to think and act LEAN in order to optimize internal processes and customer offerings
