About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Contribute to product modularity and standardization across engineering designs
  • Manage and maintain product codes, Bills of Materials (BOMs), and related documentation
  • Control and optimize product costs, supporting cost-reduction initiatives
  • Support product strategy and the development of customer-facing features
  • Lead phase-in/phase-out activities for product codes and ensure smooth transitions
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Product Management, Operations, and other departments to align engineering activities with business goals, as well as product development teams to design or adapt solutions
  • Utilize CAD tools for design and documentation, as well as SAP for product data management and process integration
  • Support and monitor activities in the manufacturing plant, gaining understanding of production processes to ensure product feasibility and quality

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or related field)
  • Fluency in English
  • Proven experience in a manufacturing or product development environment within structured organizations
  • Experience in technical design, product coding, and product lifecycle management
  • Familiarity with CAD tools and SAP
  • Previous experience in laboratory activities, testing, and prototyping is considered a plus
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage diverse technical challenges
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Availability to travel frequently, especially during the initial onboarding period
