About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Explain Medicare plan benefits and answer questions from potential members or their responsible parties
- Identify potential membership leads and conduct timely outreach to support enrollment
- Coordinate with sales leadership to enroll residents into ISNPs and DSNPs
- Provide enrollment administration support with sales administration management
- Use sales closing skills to drive enrollments and maintain a strong close rate
- Follow sales policies and procedures and update company systems and databases for referrals and enrollments
- Learn and apply Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services rules and regulations
- Meet with potential members or responsible parties, compare existing and plan benefits, and provide enrollment-process assistance
- Participate in facility marketing events in accordance with CMS guidelines
- Send monthly lists of upcoming enrollees to facility and agency contacts
- Ensure member interactions comply with CMS regulations
- Conduct monthly facility audits using the provided checklist
- Manage a geographic territory of participating nursing facilities and counties for D-SNP marketing and enrollment
- Provide marketing support, facility and community events, and provider education for I-SNP and D-SNP plans
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree required
- 2 years of health insurance sales experience preferred
- Life & Health Insurance License required by law
- AHIP Certification and licensure to sell Life and Health insurance in required states preferred
- Ability to maintain health insurance licensure and state continuing education requirements
- Strong technological and computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite proficiency
- Comfortable communicating via web-based video platforms
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and presentation ability
- Ability to work independently and productively and collaborate with a team
- Strong organizational, interpersonal, and clear-thinking skills
- Ability to synthesize complex issues into simple messages
- Knowledge of Medicare/Medicaid and nursing community dynamics
- Compliance with CMS regulations regarding Medicare Advantage Plans and PruittHealth Code of Conduct
- Willingness to travel to local meeting places and facilities within the assigned region
- Dependable transportation, current driver's license, clean driving record, and proof of insurance
- Suitable home workspace for a productive office environment
- Understanding of PruittHealth Premier Plan benefits, policies, and procedures
- Completion of annual Medicare Fraud, Waste and Abuse Training and Model of Care Training
- Georgia residents preferred
