About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Explain Medicare plan benefits and answer questions from potential members or responsible parties
  • Identify membership leads and conduct timely outreach to assist with health-plan enrollment
  • Coordinate with sales leadership to enroll residents into ISNPs and DSNPs
  • Provide enrollment administration support as needed
  • Use sales closing skills to drive enrollments and maintain a strong close rate
  • Follow sales policies and standard operating procedures while updating company systems and databases
  • Learn and apply CMS rules and regulations
  • Compare existing benefits with plan benefits and support potential members and families throughout enrollment
  • Participate in facility marketing events in accordance with CMS guidelines
  • Send monthly lists of upcoming enrollees to facility and agency contacts
  • Ensure member interactions comply with CMS regulations
  • Conduct monthly facility audits using the provided checklist
  • Manage a geographic territory of participating nursing facilities and counties for D-SNP marketing and enrollment
  • Provide provider education and marketing support in skilled nursing facilities and communities

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 2 years of health insurance sales experience preferred
  • Life & Health Insurance License required by law
  • AHIP Certification and licensure to sell Life and Health insurance in required states preferred
  • Ability to maintain health insurance licensure and state continuing-education requirements
  • Strong technological and computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Comfortable communicating via web-based video platforms
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to deliver impactful presentations
  • Ability to work independently and productively, as well as with a team
  • Knowledge of Medicare/Medicaid and/or nursing community dynamics
  • Compliance with CMS regulations regarding Medicare Advantage Plans and the PruittHealth Code of Conduct
  • Exceptional organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Willingness and ability to travel to assigned facilities and local meeting places
  • Dependable transportation, current driver’s license, clean driving record, and proof of insurance
  • Suitable home workspace for a productive office environment
  • Ability to explain PruittHealth Premier Plan benefits, policies, and procedures
  • Completion of annual Medicare Fraud, Waste and Abuse Training and Model of Care Training
  • Georgia residents preferred
