About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide sales-cycle and administrative support to assigned Sales Executives and account management team members
  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of prospects, customers, producer relationships, key contacts, and products offered
  • Develop proficiency with relevant Prudential systems and software
  • Partner with Sales Executives, Account Executives, and Account Managers to manage the Request for Proposal process
  • Monitor RFP inboxes and enter data into internal sales systems
  • Ensure internal partners adhere to RFP timelines
  • Review responses for completion and distribute proposal responses
  • Interface with brokers on behalf of the sales and account management team
  • Provide administrative sales support to aligned Customer Relationship Managers
  • Serve as liaison for sales personnel, customers, producers, and home office contacts
  • Organize and maintain the office and ensure shared office equipment and supplies are available and working
  • Serve as a resource for new hires and assist with onboarding
  • Participate in team meetings and trainings
  • Serve as backup for other team members when required
  • Document and maintain relevant sales and customer record systems to meet compliance requirements
  • Support broker and customer activities, including finalist meetings, enrollment, and benefit fair preparation
  • Order brochures and giveaways
  • Work on special projects throughout the year

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Insurance industry, sales administration, customer service, or equivalent experience
  • Knowledge and understanding of customer service and relationship management concepts preferred
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Customer-focused and resolution-oriented
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a timely manner
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the prospect and customer base, producer relationships, key contacts, and products offered
  • Proficiency with relevant Prudential systems and software
