About the role
- The Analyst will be assigned to work with a senior credit research member on the Large Cap Private Credit Team.
- The Analyst works closely with senior team members to perform fundamental investment analysis, define value within issuer capital structures and industry sectors, as well as communicate investment recommendations to Portfolio Managers and the Large Cap Private Capital Investment Committee.
- The fundamental credit investment research conducted by the Analyst is an integral component of the portfolio construction process and the ongoing monitoring of investments.
- The Analyst role involves regular interaction with the management of issuing companies, industry experts, and external counterparts including advisors, banks and private equity funds.
- Analysts benefit from collaboration with both Public and Private investment professionals within PGIM.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree Required: Majors preferred include Finance, Accounting, and/or Economics, and a minimum GPA of 3.0.
- Minimum of 1 year of relevant internship/work experience in direct lending or private credit preferred.
- One year credit research experience preferred.
- Strong analytical, leadership, problem-solving skills and organizational skills.
- Strong written, oral communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in MS Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Financial modelling skills preferred.
- Enjoys being a part of a team but can work independently.
- CFA Preferred.
