About the role

  • Lead technical design and implementation of cloud-native solutions, ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture and MVP principles.
  • Drive team performance through coaching, mentoring, and fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous learning.
  • Collaborate with product and business stakeholders to align technology strategy with business goals, influencing decisions with technical and domain expertise.
  • Champion agile practices, DevOps principles, and modern engineering standards to accelerate delivery and improve quality.
  • Be hands-on when needed, guiding the team through technical challenges and contributing to codebases to unblock progress.
  • Promote architectural excellence, scalability, and security in all solutions, with a strong focus on cloud-native patterns and practices.
  • Serve as a connector across teams, integrating systems and driving adoption of engineering best practices.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field—or equivalent experience.
  • Proven experience leading technical teams and mentoring engineers, with a strong focus on people development and team dynamics.
  • Deep expertise in cloud-native architecture AWS, microservices, containerization, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Strong business acumen and ability to translate complex technical concepts into strategic business value.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and inspire across technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Experience with agile methodologies, TDD, and modern software development practices.
  • Self-motivated and proactive, with a passion for driving change and delivering impactful solutions.
  • Ability to foster an inclusive, collaborative, and high-performing team culture.
  • Preferred qualifications: Experience in financial services or insurance is a plus. Familiarity with domain-driven design, event-driven architecture, and platform engineering. Exposure to enterprise transformation initiatives and change management.
