About the role

  • Support the Lead Product Designer in designing user interfaces for Proximie's product suite.
  • Create and iterate UI screens, layouts, and components in Figma.
  • Assist in maintaining and evolving Proximie's design system, including components, styles, and patterns.
  • Produce design assets and specifications to support engineering implementation.
  • Contribute to wireframes, user flows, and prototypes to explore and communicate product ideas.
  • Participate in feedback cycles with product and engineering teams, iterating quickly and responding constructively to input.
  • Design and update marketing collateral including one-pagers, brochures, slide decks, case studies, and event materials.
  • Work as a brand guardian, help maintain and improve brand templates for consistency and speed of execution.

Requirements

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of at least 1 year of experience in a design role, or a strong portfolio demonstrating equivalent ability.
  • A portfolio that demonstrates both UI design work (web or mobile) and marketing or brand design work (presentations, collateral, visual communication).
  • Strong working knowledge of Figma.
  • Comfortable working across Microsoft 365 (Experience designing PowerPoint).
  • Interested in experimentation with AI tools that can increase velocity and build engaging content for both product and marketing.
  • Experience working with product design systems.
  • Understanding of UX principles including flows, usability, and accessibility.
  • Good layout, typography, and visual hierarchy skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and consistency.
  • Clear communicator, able to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
