About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Own outbound prospecting: Identify high-potential DTC brands and agencies
- Drive awareness: Share Proxima’s story and value through compelling, personalized outreach
- Book qualified meetings: Schedule high-quality discovery calls and demos
- Refine ICP and outreach playbooks: Test messaging and help sharpen targeting strategy
- Track performance: Maintain clean records in Salesforce and report on pipeline activity
- Engage: Be part of the e-commerce & performance marketing ecosystem by attending events and meetups.
- Collaborate cross-functionally: Share feedback with Product and Marketing to ensure and continuously improve alignment
- Leverage AI and modern tooling: build and optimize outbound workflows using tools like Clay, Apollo, and AI-assisted sequencing to do more with less
Requirements
What you’ll need- 2–4 years of experience in outbound sales, business development, or high-volume prospecting
- Strong written communicator—you know how to make a cold email feel warm
- Experience in the Shopify ecosystem or working with paid media/creative agencies
- Deep curiosity about performance marketing, AI, and how modern DTC brands grow
- Technically resourceful - you've experimented with AI tools to improve your workflow and aren't waiting for someone to hand you a playbook
- Self-starter with a bias for action and hunger to learn in a fast-paced environment
- Comfortable using Apollo, Clay, Salesforce, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and similar tools
- Professional, motivated, and customer-obsessed—you're energized by helping others win
