Co-create with customers: run short discovery and usability sessions with our brands, incorporate learnings into weekly iterations, help us get to "useful" fast.
Collaborate with product and engineering to shape what our models surface (customer segments, cross-brand look-alikes, LTV predictors, taste profiles) and how we explain "why this matters."
Shape our design culture from the ground up. You'll set the tone for how we work, what tools we use, and how design influences product decisions.
Design exploration workflows that help marketers answer complex business questions quickly. Turn infinite ways to slice customer data into clear paths to decisions about product lines, creative strategy, channel selection, and growth opportunities.
Translate our insights (visual taste profiles, life stages, purchase motivations, brand affinities, size distributions) into clear mental models that marketers immediately understand.
Establish design patterns and standards for tables, filters, comparisons, and charts used across Customer Explorer. You'll build our first design system and work closely with engineering to keep it in sync.
Make activation obvious: show how insights sync to channels (Meta audiences, Klaviyo segments, programmatic), inform product decisions, and guide creative strategy.
Design for real data realities: handle empty/partial/dirty states, show confidence levels, set sensible defaults, reveal complexity progressively.
Work fast and visibly: ship low-friction prototypes, make quick trade-offs, create crisp artifacts (flows, rationales, design tokens), iterate in increments (V0/V1/V2).
Requirements
7-9 years in product design, with at least 2 years working on data-heavy products used by business users
Fluency with AI-assisted workflows for ideation, research synthesis, and prototyping
Experience building within or expanding design systems (Material, Polaris, Carbon, or similar)
Genuine passion for marketing and helping brands find customers. You're curious about shopper behavior, creative resonance, and how insights drive growth.
