About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Supervise the daily operations of the box office during evening and weekend performances
- Facilitate ticket sales
- Supervise box office employees
- Act as a liaison between clients, guests, and Covey Center staff
- Provide excellent customer service to all guests
- Assist with deposits, audits, scheduling, and training staff
- Perform light custodial tasks as needed
- Help in other areas of the building as needed
- Perform other related duties as required
Requirements
What you’ll need- High School Diploma or equivalent (GED)
- 2 years of box office or performing arts-related experience
- Ability and willingness to work weekdays, evenings, weekends, and occasional holidays
- Must comply with Provo City and Covey Center policies, procedures, and dress and grooming standards
- Ability to multi-task, meet deadlines, and work flexible hours
- Strong communication, critical thinking, problem solving, and organizational skills
- Ticketing software experience is highly desirable
- If selected for hire, must successfully pass a drug screen and criminal background check
