About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Run a structured client feedback program through interviews, Client Services and Sales intake, and theme synthesis
Translate agency, operational, and internal stakeholder needs into detailed requirements
Ensure workflows reflect production use across billing, case management, and regulatory reporting
Identify edge cases, configuration impacts, dependencies, and data implications
Surface underutilized features and pain points using usage data and client conversations
Produce AI-elaborated functional specifications that provide direct input to development
Build and refine AI-assisted specification workflows and contribute to the AI-Directed Development Lifecycle
Translate client problems into user stories, acceptance criteria, and interactive mockups
Maintain and evolve UI and UX standards while modernizing legacy functionality into Vue
Own and maintain the ProviderSoft product backlog
Triage incoming cases and prioritize work based on client value, delivery cost, and operational stability
Balance technical debt and maintenance work with new capability development
Improve triage efficiency and maintain backlog readiness for predictable sprint planning
Serve as the primary day-to-day product contact for the delivery team and remove blockers
Facilitate test-plan creation and perform user acceptance testing
Ensure release notes, documentation inputs, and internal enablement materials are complete
Partner with Client Services on change communications
Monitor post-release adoption and feedback and coordinate follow-up work
Contribute requirements and documentation for legacy modernization and long-term UI, architecture, and ecosystem goals

Requirements

What you’ll need

3 to 5+ years of experience as a Product Owner, Product Manager, or similar delivery-focused product role in B2B SaaS
Experience producing structured specifications developers can build from without extensive clarification
Working AI fluency, including daily use of Claude, Copilot, or similar tools and specific AI workflows
Experience running customer discovery, interviews, feedback synthesis, and translating qualitative input into prioritized work
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to clarify ambiguity and independently produce specifications, user stories, release notes, and stakeholder updates
Comfort with mockup and prototyping tools such as Figma or Balsamiq
Strong experience defining requirements for complex, workflow-driven, or legacy-rich platforms
Preferred: experience leading or championing AI-Directed development practices
Preferred: UX and design depth, including design systems thinking, user research methods, and accessibility awareness
Preferred: product analytics fluency, including feature adoption, usage telemetry, and funnel analysis
Preferred: healthcare, EdTech, or regulated-industry SaaS experience
Preferred: experience with legacy modernization efforts spanning old and new architecture
Preferred: hosted enterprise operational software experience serving diverse customer operating models
