About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide centralized, remote clinical triage support for all PCI clinics
- Apply oncology nursing knowledge and evidence-based triage protocols
- Assess patient-reported symptoms and concerns by telephone and approved remote communication channels
- Determine urgency and provide self-care and symptom-management guidance
- Coordinate timely escalation to the appropriate provider and care team
- Document assessments and interventions in the electronic health record
- Support continuity of care across multiple sites
- Promote safe, efficient access to oncology services
Requirements
What you’ll need- Graduate of an accredited registered nursing school
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing, or Associate's degree in Nursing and 4 years' experience as a registered nurse in lieu of BSN
- Oregon Registered Nurse License upon hire, or National Registered Nurse Compact License upon hire
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire
- License in states wherever care is delivered
- Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN), or other national infusion certification upon hire
- 5 years of oncology nursing experience
- 3 years of triage experience preferred
- 2 years of ambulatory nursing experience preferred
