About the role
- Obtains payer authorizations and verifies coverage and benefit information for procedures performed by Kadlec Clinic Hematology and Oncology
- Maintains competency with payer regulations and requirements to ensure optimum reimbursement for Kadlec Clinic providers
- Assists patients with co-pay and financial assistance for underinsured and non-insured patients receiving chemotherapy and secondary drugs
- Supports patient services in obtaining prior authorizations for services ordered by Kadlec Clinic Hematology and Oncology providers as needed
Requirements
- Microsoft Word, Excel & Outlook experience
- Medical setting experience
- Oncology coding experience
