About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

The Senior Data Engineer is a technical-facing role within an Information Services, Analytics, or Engineering organization that leverages business relationships to design, develop, and deploy analytics solutions.
Work with Business Stakeholders, Data Engineers, Data Managers, Data Scientists, and Cloud Engineers to understand business needs and requirements.
Assess the impacts of business needs and translate them to data-driven and data-centric enterprise solutions.
Develop and build the published data layer objects and/or visualizations for consumption by the end user community.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, Engineering, Informatics. Or 4 years of related experience.
7 years SQL, Cloud, Visual Studio, ADO, Power BI, Tableau, or other development, reporting or coordination/collaboration tools.
5 years Related experience in data, analytics, and/or Business Intelligence (BI) tools and technologies experience with direct Enterprise Production ownership and publishing.
Within 6 months (180 days) of hire: Electronic Medical Records (EMR) proficiency or certification (If applicable)
5 years Strong organizational, presentation, and writing skills and ability to successfully interact across functions at all levels of an organization and with customers.
5 years In depth experience with developing data and product roadmaps and functional specifications, UAT, Customer support, launching new products, conducting customer research, and facilitating user testing.
5 years Experience in the Healthcare Industry; preferably, in relevant Electronic Medical Records (EMR) certifications, where applicable.
