About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Leading caregivers in the integration and translation of research findings into practice.
  • Leading nursing and interprofessional research studies within the region, service area, and ministries.
  • Teaching and leading innovative educational programs to support a culture of inquiry.
  • Planning, organizing, developing, directing, coordinating and evaluating resources for research studies.
  • Teaching and coaching mentors and research teams in the dissemination of study results.
  • Collaborating with system, regional, service area, and ministry research councils and teams.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing
  • Master's Degree in Nursing, Healthcare, Business, or other related area.
  • Ph.D. in Nursing, Education, or related program.
  • Washington Registered Nurse License or Alaska Registered Nurse License, as appropriate
  • Professional certification approved by ANCC within 2 years of hire
  • 5 years leading or facilitating quality and evidence-based improvement projects
  • 5 years experience as a PI or CoPI
  • 3 years teaching research processes to/for RNs
