Key responsibilities & impact

Leading caregivers in the integration and translation of research findings into practice.
Leading nursing and interprofessional research studies within the region, service area, and ministries.
Teaching and leading innovative educational programs to support a culture of inquiry.
Planning, organizing, developing, directing, coordinating and evaluating resources for research studies.
Teaching and coaching mentors and research teams in the dissemination of study results.
Collaborating with system, regional, service area, and ministry research councils and teams.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing
Master's Degree in Nursing, Healthcare, Business, or other related area.
Ph.D. in Nursing, Education, or related program.
Washington Registered Nurse License or Alaska Registered Nurse License, as appropriate
Professional certification approved by ANCC within 2 years of hire
5 years leading or facilitating quality and evidence-based improvement projects
5 years experience as a PI or CoPI
3 years teaching research processes to/for RNs
