About the role
- Designing and developing modern, data-centric applications that support clinical and operational workflows across the healthcare system
- Building scalable data pipelines, transformation and enrichment processes, provisioning layers, and user interfaces
- Mentoring junior Data Engineers
- Contributing to the research and adoption of emerging technologies
- Collaborating with Product, Platform, and Architecture teams
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering -OR- a combination of equivalent education and work experience
- 5 or more years of related experience
- Master's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering -OR- a combination of equivalent education and work experience (preferred)
- 8 or more years of data development experience (preferred)
- 5 or more years of production data operations experience (preferred)
- Strong SQL, plus hands-on Python and shell scripting (Bash/PowerShell) on Linux (preferred)
- Experience with cloud computing and data warehousing on relational platforms (preferred)
- Solid understanding of OLAP/dimensional modeling and RDBMS fundamentals (preferred)
- Knowledge of semi/unstructured data (JSON/Parquet) and API integrations (preferred)
- Familiarity with open-source ELT/ETL tooling (preferred)
- Git-based workflows and CI/CD basics for data deployments (preferred)
- Experience building and managing data ingestion pipelines from multiple sources into cloud data platforms (preferred)
- Working knowledge of Snowflake, including database objects, warehouses, and basic query optimization (preferred)
