About the role

  • Lead and develop advanced financial analyses to support strategic initiatives, capital investment, revenue diversification, partnership and divestiture opportunities for Executive Leadership
  • Design and execute market and competitive analysis to support strategy, business development, and long-range financial planning
  • Design and construct sophisticated financial/economic analyses including ROIC decomposition/optimization, product/customer/portfolio profitability, and scenario modeling
  • Prepare and deliver actionable insights in written, graphical, and verbal formats to inform senior leadership
  • Provide consulting services to system operations, functions and clinical programs to evaluate opportunities to improve financial performance and mission return
  • Connect strategic decisions and options with financial analysis and impacts, including risks of status quo
  • Develop and maintain positive working relationships with diverse internal and external stakeholders and leaders
  • Contribute to creation of FP&A best practices for planning, forecasting, and analytics
  • Work within Strategic Finance, a high-impact internal consulting group tackling complex organizational questions

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance related field
  • 8 years of closely related finance experience
  • Preferred: Master's degree in Business Administration or Health Administration
  • Preferred: Minimum of 6 years of progressive responsibility in business analytics, strategic financial management, strategic planning and/or consulting roles
  • Demonstrated executive presence with strong oral and written communication skills and ability to distill complex analysis into concise stories
  • Ability to work through ambiguity, proactively solve problems, and drive data-driven insights
  • Ability to influence business and partnership decision-making at the Executive level
  • Ability to "think outside the box" and challenge status quo
  • A sense of humor and ability to bring enthusiasm and optimism to complex business discussions (preferred)
