About the role
- Timely, accurate, and comprehensive review of provider claims to optimize reimbursement and ensure compliance with regulatory statutes.
- Identify trends and educational opportunities for providers to ensure proper coding, documentation, and accuracy of billing within specialties.
- Oversee revenue cycle coding operations and provide progressive management to the department.
- Support delivery of cost-effective, clinically competent ambulatory services as part of Swedish Medical Group.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree Accounting, business administration or other closely related field. Or equivalent educ/experience.
- 5 to 10 years equivalent work experience which includes progressive management experience and provides the ability to perform the essential functions of the position.
- 5 years Progressively more responsible related work and personnel management in health care industry.
- ICD-10/CPT coding experience (preferred)
