About the role

  • Support execution of state and federal advocacy programs for Providence St. Joseph Health and its affiliates
  • Identify, communicate with, and coordinate between external associations and internal engagement partners
  • Manage systems and structures of the Government and Public Affairs team
  • Analyze public policy issues to identify and communicate specific impacts on Providence ministries and affiliates
  • Engage in communications and counsel with internal and external audiences on priority policy issues consistent with PSJH strategic direction

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Public Policy, Law, Political Science, Business, Communications, Government, or Health Administration
  • 3 years work experience in legislative or regulatory activities, health administration or legal research; or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Experience with governmental processes and governmental relations
